What is Spectrum Health MyChart?

MyChart gives you secure, online and mobile access to your Spectrum Health electronic health record. It enables you to securely use the Internet to help manage and receive information about your health. With MyChart, you can:

  • Request medical appointments.
  • View your health summary from the MyChart electronic health record.
  • View test results.
  • Request prescription renewals.
  • Access trusted health information resources.
  • Communicate electronically and securely with your medical care team.

How do I sign up for MyChart?

You can sign up at your provider’s office, or if you’re 18 or older, you can also create an account on your own. Visit mychart.spectrumhealth.org or download the app. Next, create a username and password. After you answer the security questions, your MyChart account will securely connect to your Spectrum Health medical record.

If you are under 18 you can still create an account at your next Spectrum Health visit.

My activation code does not work, what should I do?

For your security, your activation code expires after 30 days and is no longer valid after the first time you use it. If you still have problems, email us at appsupport@spectrumhealth.org or you can call Spectrum Health App Support at 877.308.5083

Can I message my doctor in MyChart?

Yes, you can message the office of the Spectrum Health providers you’ve seen in the past three years. Your provider should be listed under “New Medical Question”. If their name is not listed, contact the provider’s office and ask to have them added to your "Care Team" as a Primary Care provider or ask to schedule an upcoming appointment or office visit.

When will my test results be available?

You’ll get an email when a new result is in MyChart. Most results are released twice daily, some may take several days, depending on the complexity of the test. In addition, certain sensitive tests are not released to your MyChart account. If you have questions, please call the office of the provider who ordered the test.

Who do I contact if my medical information is incorrect or outdated?

To make changes or corrections to your medical information, contact your provider’s office. Your Spectrum Health provider maintains the confidential medical information in your account.

How do I reset my password?

Visit mychart.spectrumhealth.org and click “Forgot Password?” by the log in button. Follow the prompts to send a password reset link to the email you use to log into Spectrum Health MyChart. Your password reset email will expire after one hour.

We take great care to ensure your health information is kept private and secure. Access to information is controlled through secure activation codes, personal usernames, and passwords. Each person controls their password, and the account cannot be accessed without that password. Unlike conventional e-mail, all MyChart messaging is done while you are securely logged on to our website.

What is your Privacy Policy?

MyChart is owned and operated by MyChart and is fully compliant with federal and state laws pertaining to your privacy. Your name and username will be treated with the same care and privacy given your health records and will never be sold or leased by MyChart.
